Baseball Recap: Eastern Gets the Win

Eastern came out on top against Bendle on Saturday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Quakers took their contest against the Tigers 9-6. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Quakers.

Alejandro Eno made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits. Eno was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Eastern picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for Bendle, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Eastern will take on Haslett at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bendle, they will face off against East Lansing at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
