Vallivue lost against Bishop Kelly back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Falcons took a hard  37-21 fall against the Knights. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Idaho football rankings (they are ranked 43rd, while the Knights are ranked fifth).

 Vallivue's  loss shouldn't obscure the performances of  Onix Carson, who rushed for 120 yards and two  touchdowns, and  Evert Eells, who picked up 84 receiving yards and one  score. Carson is becoming a predictor of the Falcons' success: when he posts  at  least 80  rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).
 While passing duties were split, you can't argue with the impact  Jaxson Brady and  Ben Avella both made on the  game. Brady gained 198 total yards and two touchdowns while  Avella rushed for 54 yards and one  TD. Brady got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 73 yards.  Ryan Arrellano was another key rusher, rushing for 64 yards and one  score.
Vallivue now  has a losing record of 3-4. As for Bishop Kelly, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the  win, which was their seventh straight  on the road dating back to last season.
 Looking ahead, Vallivue will head out to  square off against Columbia  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Falcons' defense better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 28.9  points per game this season. As for Bishop Kelly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Ridgevue  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. That  matchup will pit two of the most dominant  signal callers against one another:  Avella and  Hunter Schmittel.
