Soccer Game Preview: Tompkins vs. Jordan

The Tompkins Falcons will square off against the Jordan Warriors at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Saturday just wasn't the day for Tompkins' offense. They fell just short of Katy Taylor by a score of 1-0 on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Jordan hasn't lost a match yet, a trend which continued in their latest game on Saturday. They never let Paetow onto the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Panthers are ranked 91st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Jordan's one-goal win came courtesy of Kevin Sanoja, who's now up to two this season.

Tompkins dropped their record down to 7-5-2 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. As for Jordan, their win bumped their record up to 7-0-5.
