Basketball Recap: Mountain View Find Success

Mountain View proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 24) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 68-65 victory over the Benson Tech Astros. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Thunder have posted since November 30th.

Mountain View is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Benson Tech, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View will square off against Union at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Benson Tech, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McDaniel at 6:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
