Volleyball Recap: Arizona Lutheran Academy's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against San Tan Charter, Arizona Lutheran Academy was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Vista Grande Spartans by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Coyotes as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Ella Peltzer paced Arizona Lutheran Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Peltzer got some help from Elie Drexler and her nine assists. Drexler was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Arizona Lutheran Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Vista Grande, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Arizona Lutheran Academy has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Sunnyside on the 19th. As for Vista Grande, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Canyon del Oro at 6:00 p.m.
