WestSide had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Mingo Central Miners 80-55 on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Renegades sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

WestSide's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Coltin Lester, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 13 points along with eight boards and four steals. Those four steals gave Lester a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Bishop, who went 6-for-11 en route to 18 points.

WestSide's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Mingo Central, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-19.

Looking ahead, WestSide will face off against Midland Trail at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. WestSide knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Midland Trail likes a good challenge. Mingo Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
