Basketball Recap: Scottsdale Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Scottsdale Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Monroe Bearcats, falling 54-18. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Scottsdale Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Monroe, their win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-5.

Scottsdale Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Pima at 5:30 p.m. on January 7th. As for Monroe, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 66-49 loss against Skyline on the 30th.
