Softball Recap: Lyman Takes a Loss

Lyman lost to The Master's Academy back in April of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Greyhounds took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Kira Gold was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Lyman has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-5 record this season. As for The Master's Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-2.

Lyman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 15-0 defeat against Hagerty on the 27th. As for The Master's Academy, they will face off against Flagler Palm Coast at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
