Wauconda has gone a perfect 10-0 against North Chicago recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wauconda Bulldogs will challenge the North Chicago Warhawks at 7:00 p.m. Wauconda will be strutting in after a win while North Chicago will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Wauconda strolled past Warren Township with points to spare, taking the game 53-39. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 144th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 393rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Chicago was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 39th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 39-16 to Round Lake.

North Chicago's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Wauconda, their victory bumped their record up to 21-3.

Everything came up roses for Wauconda against North Chicago when the teams last played back in January, as the team secured a 62-11 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wauconda since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
