Basketball Game Preview: Linden-McKinley Panthers vs. Beechcroft Cougars

The Linden-McKinley Panthers will head out to challenge the Beechcroft Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Linden-McKinley is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since January 10th on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Mifflin 50-48.

Meanwhile, you're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter and that's exactly how it played out for Beechcroft on Friday. Everything went their way against Whetstone as they made off with a 73-51 win. The Cougars have beaten the Braves the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Braves has come to flipping the script.

Beechcroft's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Linden-McKinley, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Linden-McKinley skirted past Beechcroft 46-43 in their previous meeting back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
