Softball Recap: Cresskill Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Cresskill entered their tilt with Tenafly on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Tigers with a sharp 18-2 win. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by nine runs or more this season.

Annabella Doto was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with four stolen bases, four runs, and four RBI. Those RBI were her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brianna Depalo, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.

Cresskill always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .595. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2025.

Cresskill's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Tenafly, they dropped their record down to 2-22 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Cresskill has already played their next matchup (against Eastern Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Tenafly will be paying especially close attention to the Cougars' contest: after the Cougars face off against the Eagles, they'll take on Tenafly again at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
