Baseball Game Recap: Waterford Wildcats vs. West Wolfpack

Friday just wasn't the day for Waterford's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the West Wolfpack, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 8-0 to the Wolfpack when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Waterford has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. With the win, West broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5-1.

Looking ahead, Waterford will host Delhi at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Waterford is facing Delhi at the right time seeing as Delhi is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for West, they are taking a road trip to square off against St. Mary's at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. St. Mary's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so West's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
