Blake Roberts put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

Roberts' strong effort led W.S. Neal over Jackson and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
