Volleyball Recap: Newell Comes Up Short

Newell lost against Lemmon/McIntosh last Thursday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Irrigators took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowboys.

Newell dropped their record down to 4-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Lemmon/McIntosh, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-1.

Newell has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against McIntosh on the 27th. As for Lemmon/McIntosh, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Timber Lake on October 7.
