Baseball Recap: O'connor Takes Down Perry in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and O'Connor had no trouble coming through when it counted. They had just enough and edged out the Perry Pumas 5-4 on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-2 back in April.

Ayden McGinnis was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high.

O'Connor's victory bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Perry, their loss dropped their record down to 19-12.

Coming up, O'Connor will challenge Brophy College Prep on Saturday. The Broncos' pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Perry does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
