Basketball Recap: Noah Dulin Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Glenn

Davie won the last time they faced Glenn and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Davie War Eagles put the hurt on the Glenn Bobcats with a sharp 63-42 victory. The War Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Davie's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Dulin led the charge by going 6 for 9 on his way to 12 points and six rebounds. Dulin has been hot recently, having also posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. Another player making a difference was Jackson Powers, who posted ten points.

Several Bobcats players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jeremiah Torian, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine boards. Zyire Murphy was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

The win made it two in a row for Davie and bumps their season record up to 15-7. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 5-18 Glenn and 6-15 Parkland. As for Glenn, their loss was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-18.

Looking ahead, Davie will head out to take on R.J. Reynolds at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. R.J. Reynolds knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matches -- so hopefully Davie likes a good challenge. As for Glenn, they will welcome Parkland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Glenn is facing Parkland at the right time seeing as Parkland is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
