Calvary and Mt. Pulaski are an even 4-4 against one another since November of 2014, but not for long. The Calvary Saints will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers at 7:30 p.m. Calvary knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Mt. Pulaski likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Calvary strolled past Nokomis with points to spare, taking the game 80-62. Given the Saints' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 218th, while the Redskins are ranked 461st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Mt. Pulaski waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They came out on top against the Knights by a score of 52-44.

Calvary has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.7 points over those games. As for Mt. Pulaski, they pushed their record up to 13-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Everything came up roses for Calvary against Mt. Pulaski in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the squad secured an 89-56 win. Does Calvary have another victory up their sleeve, or will Mt. Pulaski turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
