Miami Christian had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victor by an 8-1 margin over the Satellite Scorpions. The Victors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by seven runs or more this season.

Miami Christian's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Satellite, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 8-2 record.

Looking ahead, Miami Christian will look to defend their home field on Monday against Mater Bay Academy at 3:30 p.m. As for Satellite, they will challenge Braddock at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average, (Braddock 3.4, Satellite 3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
