Softball Recap: Wakefield School Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Yorktown, Wakefield School was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Alexandria City Titans by a score of 13-8. Considering the Fighting Owls' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

The victory got Wakefield School back to even at 3-3. As for Alexandria City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-11.

Looking ahead, Wakefield School is taking a road trip to face off against Washington-Liberty at 6:30 p.m. on May 2. As for Alexandria City, they will take on Robinson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
