Damien blew St. Bernard out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday St. Bernard got their revenge. The Spartans fell just short of the Vikings by a score of 53-51. The contest marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Damien fell to 5-1. As for St. Bernard, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-3 record.

Looking ahead, Damien won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Venice at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Bernard, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge Crean Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Saints have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
