Volleyball Recap: Boerne-Champion Gets the Win

Boerne-Champion won the last time they faced Americas and things went their way on Saturday too. The Chargers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Trail Blazers.

Finley Weikle paced Boerne-Champion's offense, picking up nine kills. Weikle got some help from Brady Cooksey and her 19 assists. Aleah Ramirez and Hannah Perez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Boerne-Champion's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Americas, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Boerne-Champion has already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Holliday on the 16th. As for Americas, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Coronado on the 19th.
