Soccer Recap: No Winner in Oberlin's First Match

Oberlin's season-opener on Saturday wasn't quite what the team was looking for considering the end result. They and the Midview Middies finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Oberlin's Kylie Walter and Midview's Rachael Anderson and Cadence Dellisanti were all carded.

Oberlin wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Vermilion on the 18th. As for Midview, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against St. Joseph Academy on the 18th.
