Centennial got themselves on the board against Northland on Wednesday, but Northland never followed suit. They were the clear victors by  a  24-0 margin over the Vikings. That 24 run margin sets a new team best for the Stars this season.
 Iris McConnell and  Ellie Glover made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing,  McConnell   pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Meanwhile,  Glover   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. At bat,  McConnell  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 4-for-4, while  Glover  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances. Glover also put up a  double, which was her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Ryan Hammond, who  went 4-for-5 with one  home run, four  runs,  and two  stolen bases. She also  hit a  triple, marking her first of the season.  Aza Corbett was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while going 1-for-4.
 Centennial  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  got at least eight  hits every time they've taken the field this season.
Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Northland, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Coming up, Centennial will be playing in front of their home fans against Linden-McKinley  at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Northland, they will square off against Marysville at 5:15  p.m.  on Thursday.
