Basketball Recap: Kolbe Comes Up Short

The Kolbe Cougars were just a bucket shy of victory on Saturday and fell 59-58 to the Killingly Trailbazers.

Kolbe now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Killingly, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kolbe will take on Weston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars will be up against the Trojans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.71 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Killingly, they will head out on the road to challenge Fitch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
