Recap: Cedar Valley Aviators vs. Stansbury Stallions
The Cedar Valley Aviators took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday (and then some). They breezed by Stansbury at home to the tune of 59-24. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Cedar Valley also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Cedar Valley was led to victory by Hadley Whiting and Gabrielle Hudson. Whiting scored 18 points along with 5 rebounds, while Hudson scored 12 points along with 8 steals and 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Presley Whiting, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds.
Allie Proctor and Bryn leigh Jones certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Proctor scored 7 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals, while Jones scored 2 points.
Cedar Valley's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Stansbury, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Cedar Valley will head out on the road to face off against Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stansbury, they will look to defend their home court on November 30th against Green Canyon at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Green Canyon focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Tuesday.
