Marion County extended their winning streak to 12 games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Zaiden Humphrey. The Warriors took down the Sequatchie County Indians 16-0 on Friday for which the team can thank Humphrey, who rushed for 62 yards and one touchdown. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, forcing one fumble and making three total tackles.
One reason for the win was Marion County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Ashton Martin was especially locked on to Sequatchie County's QB and sacked him three times. Quincy Mills got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
