Softball Recap: University Makes It Seven in a Row at Home

University barely beat Academy of Aerospace and Engineering the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Hawks were the clear victors by a 26-9 margin over the Jets on Thursday. The Hawks' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

University pushed their record up to 2-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Academy of Aerospace and Engineering, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
