Softball Recap: Continental Comes Up Short

The Continental Pirates lost 12-2 to the Wayne Trace Raiders on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Continental saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kimberly Grant, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Continental now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Wayne Trace, their win was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-2.

Continental wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 13-5 loss against Edon on the 12th. As for Wayne Trace, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-0 defeat against Heritage on the 14th.
