Crimson Cliffs has gone a perfect 10-0 against Hurricane recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Mustangs will welcome the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Dixie hit Crimson Cliffs with a four-run third inning on Wednesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Mustangs fell just short of the Flyers by a score of 4-3.

Meanwhile, Hurricane fell victim to Cedar and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 6-0 to the Reds. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Tigers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Crimson Cliffs has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season. As for Hurricane, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Friday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Crimson Cliffs has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Hurricane struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 7.2 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
