Jessica Mooney was a major factor in Ocean City's victory over Cedar Creek on Wednesday. Mooney struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. The performance marked the most strikeouts she has had since back in May of 2024.

Mooney and Ocean City will be playing at home against Egg Harbor Township at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Raiders haven't beaten the Eagles recently, having gone 0-5 since April of 2015.
