After flying high against Engadine last Tuesday, Rudyard came back down to earth. The Rudyard Bulldogs took a 70-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brimley Bays on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Rudyard's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Brimley, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rudyard and Cheboygan will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Cheboygan will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Rudyard surely won't give up without a fight. Brimley will take on Alanson in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
