After losing to Glencoe the last time they met, Southside decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Panthers came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Southside easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-16.

Southside's win bumped their record up to 16-12. As for Glencoe, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-10.

Glencoe has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Hokes Bluff on the 4th. Hopefully Southside paid attention to the Yellowjackets' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Yellowjackets at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
