Recap: Unity Christian Lions vs. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond Knights
The Unity Christian Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond 51-21. Unity Christian has not had much luck with Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
It was another big night for Claire Seal, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 rebounds for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond. The contest was Seal's 13th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lindsay Rohacs, who scored 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Unity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Unity Christian won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chrisman at 7:30 p.m. on December 22nd. Chrisman comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 17 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond will be home for the holidays to greet Rantoul at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
