Cedar Crest is 9-1 against Lebanon since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. Cedar Crest will venture away from home to face off against Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Things were looking good for Cedar Crest after they put the first points on the board on Friday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell 9-4 to Exeter Township. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Landon Kreider was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits. Kreider was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 4-for-4. Those two runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Mason Cevette made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Lucas Schreier was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 16 runs the game before, Lebanon was a bit more limited in their match on Friday. They lost 14-1 to Palmyra.

Lebanon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cedar Crest, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Everything went Cedar Crest's way against Lebanon in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Cedar Crest made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cedar Crest since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
