Softball Recap: Community Christian Starts off Right with Win over Non Varsity Opponent

Community Christian took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. Everything went their way against Non Varsity Opponent as the Community Christian Cyclones made off with an 18-0 win.

Emilia Macias was a major factor no matter where she played. She pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Macias was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

In other batting news, Isabella Ford was a standout: she went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Emma Horne, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Coming up, Community Christian will be playing at home against Neuse Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Non Varsity Opponent has already played their next match (against Caldwell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
