Recap: Obion County vs. Dyersburg
Dyersburg was the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Obion County 48-6. Obion County can consider this payback for the 26-35 loss they dealt Dyersburg the last time the teams encountered one another.
Dyersburg's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 48 points in the first half. Meanwhile, Obion County couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 48-0 heading into the break. Dyersburg were outperformed in the second half 0-6 but had enough in reserve to walk away with the game. The contest pushed Obion County down to 0-2 and pulled Dyersburg up to the reverse 2-0.
Both teams will be heading out of the conference in their next games. Next week, Dyersburg take on Millington Central at 7:00 PM. Obion County will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Jackson South Side at 7:00 PM.
