Basketball Recap: Truman Skates Past KIPP NYC College Prep with Ease

Truman came tearing into Monday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the KIPP NYC College Prep Bulldogs to the tune of 75-33. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Mustangs also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

Truman's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for KIPP NYC College Prep, their defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-8.

Truman wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 59-31 victory against Longwood Prep Academy on the 12th. KIPP NYC College Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
