Baseball Recap: Sunset Park HEAT vs. Brooklyn Prospect Hawks
After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Sunset Park was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They lost 18-1 to the Brooklyn Prospect Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-0 on April 3rd.
Sunset Park saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Steven Espinoza, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.
Sunset Park's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Brooklyn Prospect, the win keeps they at an undefeated 8-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sunset Park will head out to challenge New Utrecht at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brooklyn Prospect, they will take on Grady at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
