Baseball Recap: Kewaskum Gets the Win

Kewaskum lost to Waupun back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Indians came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 5-2.

Kingston Grisolono made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.

Grisolono wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Liam Stoffel, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Kewaskum's win bumped their record up to 10-4-1. As for Waupun, with the defeat, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-2.

Kewaskum will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Warriors: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.
