It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Meadowbrook Academy had no problem doing just that on Monday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 59-31 win over the Cornerstone Academy Cougars. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 26 points or more this season.

Meadowbrook Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Julian Luzarraga led the charge by putting up 13 points and seven boards. Those seven rebounds gave Luzarraga a new career-high. Gaige Daugherty was another key player, earning 11 points.

Despite the loss, Cornerstone Academy still got an impressive performance from Micah Whing, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine boards.
