Baseball Recap: Premont Comes Up Short

Premont and Brackett squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Premont had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-1. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Cowboys couldn't push the score so high this time.

Premont's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-10. As for Brackett, they now have a winning record of 10-9.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Premont beat the Tigers by a score of 3-2 later that day.
