Basketball Recap: Oklahoma F Beats Mid-Missouri Homeschool for Their Sixth Straight Victory

Oklahoma F waltzed into their game on Wednesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They walked away with a 50-39 victory over the Mid-Missouri HomeSchool Mavericks. Given the Flame's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 58th in Oklahoma, while the Mavericks are ranked 212th in Missouri), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Mid-Missouri HomeSchool's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kyle Aulgur, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Aulgur has been hot, having posted nine or more boards the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaden Hayes, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.

Oklahoma F's win bumped their record up to 30-7. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 23-15.

Oklahoma F does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mid-Missouri HomeSchool, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Omaha R at 3:50 p.m. on Thursday.
