Volleyball Recap: Desert Comes Up Short

Desert saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell just short of the Lancaster Eagles by a score of 2-1. The Scorpions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Desert's defeat dropped their record down to 3-10. As for Lancaster, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-15.

Desert and Lancaster could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Scorpions (ranked 1057th) will meet Cajon (ranked 289th) at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Lancaster will take on Canyon at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (526 vs. 81).
