Mayer won the last time they faced San Pasqual Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 16-1 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won nine matches by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Mayer got a big performance out of Raelynn Halterman, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs. Another player making a difference was Kirya Edwards, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two runs.

Mayer always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .532. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

The win got Mayer back to even at 10-10. As for San Pasqual Valley, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-14.

Mayer does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for San Pasqual Valley, they have already played their next game, a 28-2 defeat against Antelope on the 29th.
