Bellmont is 8-1 against New Haven since May of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Braves will welcome the Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. New Haven took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Bellmont, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with six losses in a row, Bellmont turned things around against Huntington North on Thursday. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 13-8. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Braves' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Garrett. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

New Haven saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rakiya Jackson-Totton, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Bellmont, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 6-9.

Everything went Bellmont's way against New Haven in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, as Bellmont made off with a 24-4 win. Do the Braves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
