South Summit is a perfect 5-0 against Judge Memorial Catholic since October of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wildcats will square off against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Judge Memorial Catholic took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on South Summit, who comes in off a win.

South Summit is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 54-15 win over American Leadership Academy. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

South Summit's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryce Pulver led the charge by rushing for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Pulver's longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. The team also got some help courtesy of Ian Mair, who threw for 182 yards and one TD on only 13 passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: South Summit was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

South Summit didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jack Johnson and William Neff.

Meanwhile, Judge Memorial Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by Summit Academy 43-14.

The win got South Summit back to even at 4-4. As for Judge Memorial Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.

Everything came up roses for South Summit against Judge Memorial Catholic in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 39-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
