Volleyball Recap: San Pasqual Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Win

San Pasqual entered their tilt with Fallbrook on Monday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 3-1. The Golden Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Warriors, too.

San Pasqual was actually outscored in aggregate across those four sets (95-92), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 26-24, 16-25, 25-23.

San Pasqual was led to victory by Roman Saldivar and Niles Palma. Saldivar had 32 assists and four digs, while Palma had 19 digs. Saldivar is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 12 games he's played.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jason Fuentes, who had 26 digs and two aces. Jordan Anicete also deserves some recognition as he had his first blocks of the season.

San Pasqual pushed their record up to 19-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Fallbrook, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 17-9.

San Pasqual didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 loss against Ramona on the 23rd. As for Fallbrook, they have also already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against El Camino on the 23rd.
