Football Recap: Fullerton Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fullerton suffered their biggest loss since September 6, 2024 on Friday. They lost 34-14 to the Beckman Patriots. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Indians, who until this matchup were averaging 13 points allowed.

Although Fullerton took the loss, they still got scores from Evan Tellez-Soria and Cyrus Aviles.

Makhi Czaykowski was his usual excellent self, rushing for 165 yards and four TDs on only 14 carries, while also picking up 50 receiving yards and one score for Beckman. Czaykowski is becoming a predictor of the Patriots' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Noah Nam, who threw for 200 yards and one touchdown.

Fullerton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Beckman, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-3.

Meanwhile, Beckman is set to challenge their familiar foe Sunny Hills at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Czaykowski and George Shelledy.
