Recap: Fort Elliott Cougars vs. Accelerate Christian Warriors
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Boys Ranch, the Fort Elliott Cougars were happy to have found some success on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 30-28 win over Accelerate Christian.
Accelerate Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Danity Diaz, who scored nine points along with nine steals and six rebounds, and Jada Craddock who scored six points along with ten rebounds. Craddock has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.
Fort Elliott now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Accelerate Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
Fort Elliott will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Miami at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2024. Accelerate Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Chillicothe at 9:00 a.m. on December 9th.
