Volleyball Recap: Ponte Vedra Comes Up Short

Ponte Vedra lost against Creekside back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Sharks came up short against the Knights, falling 3-0.

While Ponte Vedra ultimately came up short, they really made Creekside work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 27-25, 25-13.

Among those leading the charge was Scott Miller, who had eight digs and four assists.

Ponte Vedra has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season. As for Creekside, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Ponte Vedra does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Creekside, they will challenge Beachside at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
